Wordpress Developer Tool for Dreamweaver

In this past week I’ve been doing allot of development in Wordpress and through a very round about way discovered this Dreamweaver Extension for Wordpress Development. This tool, called TAGStention is nothing short of great. Wished I had it found it earlier, for it would have saved me a lot of time. Head on over to solutoire.com/tagstention for the download.

So what does it do? It’s basically a menu that inserts built in Wordpress functions. Ones that we sometimes forgets even exist. Here are some of the features:

Wizards for tags with parameters
Support for 90% of the tags
Insert basic loops (wizard)
Insert headers (wizard)
Help button redirects to codex

Since this valuable find I’ve also come across two more valuable resources for Wordpress Development. Those I’ll share at a later stage. But make sure to add this one to your arsenal.

Hey Foxinni,

TAGStention is certainly a must have extension for any WordPress Developer using Dreamweaver! I have been using it for a while now and find it fantastic……

steveorevo keeps beating me to the post about ThemeDreamer. It’s now version .3 but it’s definitely worth at least a trial download. Very cool extension for WYSIWYG theme development.
