It’s a great feeling if you develop a Wordpress theme and as it nears completion you discover it has tons of potential. This theme did exactly that. More on that in a upcoming theme. This theme called, LogoBlog, has got a neat function built into the already clean layout. The main feature gives you the ability to insert an image, photo or an uploaded logo off the internet into the header and position it as you please. This would be great for companies and startups to boldly display their new logo, one they should have spent time on developing. Image is everything. And with that said, I bring you LogoBlog.

I think the theme itself is great. However I think that the logo is taking up too much space in the header in terms of pushing content down too far. It’s too close to the fold.

@Nic: In a way thats what the theme is suppose to do. I had to make it that high due to the page navigation on the left that “grows”. Another note, the theme is extremely condense, only 666px wide… so getting to content is not really an issue.

Very different design. Havent seen anything like this, and the logo functionality goes hand in hand!

It’s a great theme mate! I’m a serious fan of minimalist designs, especially considering the huge movement to corporate blogging.
All this buzz about people creating themes has start to get me thinking about making one myself.
Where to start? Did you get a base theme from somewhere and then build from that?

I do have a slight issue, though. The section to the left of the logo that contains links to my pages shows up properly in Firefox, however in IE the “RSS” link doesn’t appear at the bottom. It overlaps the links for other pages. Any ideas on how to fix this?
This is one of the smart theme I can see. It’s very rare to find theme with option page.
