An emotional moment comes as I finally polish up this LONG overdue theme for my site. Many things can attribute to this theme taking well over 6 month to complete. Among those are the love/hate relationship I have with design, the lack of focus and the need to get everything perfect.
My site is not perfect. It started off heading into one direction and then started going into other directions as time went on. Right now I’m very involved with WooThemes to really create a vicious web property, not to mention the obvious to just go less.
So just to tell you more about the latest design. I’m not a strong blogger and but I still want to push out updates. That’s why I opted for a sticky based homepage, with a few posts taking main stage. I wanted to try out something fluid, giving me space to explore the wide open spaces. And brown… brown is my favorite color.
Right now there is a very big WooThemes pluck on the site. Why? Simply because I want to get more people onto our great product. And big fat sections of advertising will do exactly that. The goal it to convert my traffic into something I spend allot of time on.
Foxinni.com is suppose to be my online business card, but my business card is doing some decent SE traffic… so the inner posts and old-to-ancient content I can’t do away with, or rather, I won’t. Further more, I intend to develop an above standard Portfolio section. I’ve done a bit of design in my day, hence forfeiting the Portfolio section for now. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.
Feel free to browse and comment on any features you like and do not like, it’s all fair game. I added some screenshots to the post using ThemeSmith. It will be making a big difference to the way I blog from now on.
* Expect some browser bugs. Firefox and Safari for the win.

Slick my man. Love the design. Definitely something very different from the average designer come coder portfolio / blog.
Really dig it.
Awesome dude. Different is good in my book. Thanks
Awesome work Fox, demonstrating exactly why you play such a vital part at WooThemes!
So many things to play around with on your site. What about some JS scrolls to anchored parts of the page, seeing it’s quite epic in length.
Nice after thought Marky. I will be making some additions as the suggestions come in. Will tweet when the updates are made. Thanks for the support.
I like the concept of seperating areas like you and Mulletized (http://www.mulletized.com/) have done – I think it’s a trend that’s going to get incredibly popular.
Nice one Fox!
Yeah it’s a type of design that will definitely find it’s place, trend or no trend. Nice example you have provided. Thanks!
Well done on the redesign man. It was definitely time for a change, nice job
Hey Fox, the new design looks great! I’m loving the unusual layout. As for my input, maybe adding a link to the comments section at the end of each post would be nice because I got lost at one point, but that might be just me. Also, the LinkedIn badge is not directing me to your LinkedIn profile, but adding the ‘www’ to the link should take care of this problem. Oh and I think people who comment in your blog will appreciate a bigger comment box. Well, hope my input helps.
Excellent input Artur. Will got right on that. Thanks

I LOVE your theme. I love the brown and the graphics. What I especially love is the horizontal design on your homepage. To me, it just makes so much more sense to design horizontally on the web- given the screen orientation.
I have a web profile page, but I’ve just used a very simple wordpress theme for it. I would love to be able to find a design like this, especially the first part of the home page. I went to woo themes, but I didn’t see anything quite like it.
Do you have any suggestions for horizontal themes that could be used as web profiles?
My site is not 100% horizontal, but most elements stretch up to the whole screen width. I coded something different, so I don’t expect there to be much out there in terms of themes that copies this design.
I am not a regular visitor here but happened to be stumbleupon and see that you’ve redesigned. Shall I say this one is very different than the other stuffs i see online?
Ofcourse I am really impressed on how you code. Well done
Thanks guy.
I went for something different and seemed to have done exactly that. Foxinni.com is a set and forget type of project at the moment, so I don’t get to work on ideas for the site as much as I’d like to.
